(AL.com) –– Doug Jones’ and his staff want to help you pay for college.
On Jan. 28-29, U.S. Senator Doug Jones will host a series of workshops across the state to assist students and their families with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The events will be free and open to the public. These workshops will be held in Mobile, Selma, Montgomery, Hueytown and Trinity.
Jones’ interest in the FAFSA led to bipartisan legislation to simplify the lengthy form. The legislation will take the length of the form down to a total of just 18-30 questions. For more information on the legislation, click here.
